In 2021, entrepreneurs used online products on the SBU portal “Small business of Moscow” (MBM) more than 109 thousand times.
“The number of user requests to the online products of the MBM portal increased by 2.6 times compared to 2020 and became a record. The high demand for digital services is associated with the growing demand for the remote solution of business problems, as well as with the increase in the number of individual entrepreneurs and the self-employed. Many of them become users of the MBM portal and the services presented on it,” said the head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow
MBM online products allow entrepreneurs to simplify the process of business management at any stage. For example, you can prepare documents for registering a company or individual entrepreneur for free, check a counterparty, find an office space, select support measures suitable for a particular business, or prepare a tax return under a simplified taxation system.
The most popular online services in 2021 are “Checking counterparties”, “Legislative Business Digest”, “Interactive Assistant”, “Check the legitimacy of the sign”, “Consultation”. They accounted for 85.5 percent of applications.
Last year, the demand for the Counterparty Check service grew the most: it was used 39.3 thousand times, which is six times more than a year earlier. With its help, you can identify possible risks when working with potential suppliers, customers, partners in order to maximize the security of planned transactions. Demand for the second most popular online product Legislative Business Digest increased 2.5 times. The digest informs entrepreneurs about the main innovations in the legal sphere, both in preparation and already adopted, as well as about new support measures. In total, 30.5 thousand users turned to it in 2021.
“The top three most popular MBM online products include the Interactive Assistant service. It selects targeted support measures for a specific user, taking into account the scope and age of the business. It also informs the self-employed about what types of assistance they can count on. In 2021, almost 11.6 thousand users turned to it,” Alexey Fursin added.
The number of calls to the service “Check the legality of the sign” at the end of the year doubled and amounted to 7.8 thousand times. And the “Consultation” service, which helps to quickly get answers to questions about opening and developing a business in Moscow, was used 4.4 thousand times.
Among other requested online products— “Selection of urban premises for business”, “Sign up for free coworking”, “Preparation of the tax return of the simplified tax system”, “Selection of the taxation regime”.
Small Business of Moscow continues to expand the range of online services and services, as well as complex digital projects that help entrepreneurs open and develop their business.
