Units of Russian peacekeepers from the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO in Kazakhstan loaded military equipment into Il-76 aircraft and flew from Alma-Ata to the Ulyanovsk region.

Today, aircraft of the military transport aviation (VTA) of the Russian Aerospace Forces will deliver the personnel and equipment of the airborne units that have completed tasks as part of the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO to the Vostochny airfield in the Ulyanovsk region.

Upon the arrival of the units at the airfield, their solemn meeting will be organized with the participation of the command of the Airborne Forces unit and family members of the paratroopers-peacekeepers.

At the end of the solemn rally, the personnel will begin to unload weapons, military equipment, property from aircraft and march to the point of permanent deployment.

Earlier, units of Russian paratroopers from the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO, who completed the tasks of protecting socially significant facilities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, carried out a flight by military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces from the Almaty airfield to the Ivanovo-Severny (Ivanovo region) and Chkalovsky (Moscow region) airfields .

On January 14, having completed the loading of equipment and personnel, the peacekeeping contingents from Armenia, Belarus and Tajikistan returned to their homeland on Il-76 military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces. The unit of peacekeepers of Kyrgyzstan returned to the point of permanent deployment, having made a march on standard equipment under its own power.

The return of all peacekeepers to their permanent deployment points is planned to be completed by January 19.
