Construction of 134 new buildings of schools and kindergartens is planned for 2022-2024.

Sergei Sobyanintoured a kindergarten and a school being built as part of a large residential complex in the south of Moscow. When the objects are ready, the investor will transfer them to the city for free use.

“Large residential complex, several stages of construction. And it is very important to provide its residents with social facilities — kindergartens, schools,” the Moscow Mayor stressed.

He added that in addition to kindergartens and schools, it is necessary to provide sports facilities and create new jobs.

A school for 900 students began to be built in February 2021 and should be completed in 2023. Now the construction readiness of the building is 35 percent.

On the ground floor of the school there will be a lobby, a block of primary classes, a catering unit and a dining room for 450 seats, medical rooms and additional education rooms, as well as two gyms. The elementary school block, assembly hall and IT test site will be located on the second floor. On the third floor there are classes for high school and additional education.

Next to the school there will be a stadium with running tracks, as well as areas for recreation and games.

The construction of a kindergarten for 160 children began in February 2021 and should be completed this year. The facility is being built ahead of schedule: in August 2021, a monolithic frame was completed. Now the construction readiness of the building is 40 percent.

The kindergarten will have seven group blocks with playrooms, bedrooms, pantry and bathrooms. It will also have a gym and a music room.

Seven sheds will be installed on the territory and two sports grounds will be equipped.

Leonid Maksimov, general director of a company that is building a residential complex, said that two phases of construction have already been completed. The construction of social infrastructure facilities is at an active stage: “As part of the development, a kindergarten for 110 children has already been commissioned, and now another kindergarten for 160 children is being built. It will be introduced by September of this year, and a school with 900 places will be introduced by September next. Since the transfer of apartments has not yet begun, we assume that the first tenants will begin to move in by the end of this year. The main part will come next year, when we introduce the school.”

The school and kindergarten are being built by a private investor, who will donate them to the capital Department of Education and Scienceas part of the fulfillment of the developer’s investment obligations to the city.

There will be 25 houses (7151 apartments) in the LIFE-Varshavskaya residential complex. More than 20 thousand people will be able to move into new housing. Underground parking for 2767 places is provided. In total, the complex will include two schools and three kindergartens.

In addition, a 650-meter long boulevard will appear next to the houses, along which recreation and sports grounds will be located.

The overall readiness of the residential complex is 45 percent, nine residential buildings have been commissioned. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2026.
