More than 4.1 billion rubles will be directed to the Amur Region for the creation of engineering structures necessary to protect the territories from floods and floods. The order on the distribution of funding for the coming years was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

With the help of federal subsidies, dams will be built and bank protection works will be carried out in the villages of Vladimirovka and Ust-Ivanovka in the Blagoveshchensk region. In total, more than 1.9 thousand people live there. New facilities will help protect citizens, their property and infrastructure from the negative impact of the water element.

Subsidies will be provided within the framework of the state program “Reproduction and use of natural resources”. It is planned to complete the construction of the facilities in 2025.

In summer, floods occurred in some regions of the Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD) due to heavy rains. The situation was discussed on meeting on liquidation of the consequences of emergencies in the Far East, which took place on July 27 in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. On behalf of the President, it was held by Mikhail Mishustin during a working trip to the Far Eastern Federal District.
