Investments in its reorganization will amount to more than 40 billion rubles.
Two sites of the former industrial zone Medvedkovo are awaiting reorganization. Draft decisions have already been published. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov.
“The area of the territory subject to integrated development exceeds 20 hectares. The sites are located near the Medvedkovo Forest Park and the Moscow Ring Road, and from the northeast side they are limited by Polyarny passage. Now they are warehouses, offices and car services, and after the reorganization there will be sports and leisure facilities, more than 10 thousand new jobs and a convenient infrastructure. Investments in the reorganization will exceed 40 billion rubles, and revenues to the budget will amount to 5.5 billion rubles a year,” said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow.
As the leader stated Department of investment and industrial policy of the city of Moscow Alexander Prokhorov, in the former industrial zone in the Severnoye Medvedkovo area, investors will build almost 400 thousand square meters of real estate.
“Both sites will be occupied by public and business buildings. It is already known that a sports complex with an area of 15,000 square meters will be built on the second site. In total, 27 of them will be built under the Industrial Quarters program,” he explained. “In addition, a hotel and a cultural and leisure center with an area of 26 and 12 thousand square meters, respectively, as well as a temple will appear on the territory of the industrial zone.”
The comprehensive development of former industrial zones, which is being carried out as part of the Industrial Quarters project, will give the city budget almost three trillion rubles. The total investment will be over seven trillion rubles.
This project allows the use of virtually abandoned urban areas. The first agreement on their integrated development was signed in July 2020. It concerned the former industrial zone Oktyabrskoye Pole, the total area of which is 5.92 hectares. Investments in its development will amount to about 14 billion rubles, the budgetary effect is about 1.8 billion rubles. The project implementation period is six years, but the investor plans to complete construction before 2024.
In Moscow reorganize more than 130 territories – this is about two thousand hectares. Among the major projects is the integrated development of sections of the industrial zones of Korovino, Kuntsevo, Altufevskoe Shosse, Ogorodny Proyezd, Yuzhny Port and others. More than 500,000 jobs will be created in the new industrial quarters.
