With a score of 46 points in jigging from ice, Lieutenant Colonel of the Internal Service Nikolai Dyadenko entered the top five in the qualifying competitions among candidates for the national team.

18 best Russian athletes according to the 2021 ratings were invited to the training events that took place in early January in the Moscow region. More than half of them are winners and prize-winners of the world championships of the last five or six years.

The main composition of the Russian team was formed from athletes who took places from the first to the sixth in the qualifying competitions, including the employee of the penitentiary system, who showed the fifth result on the ice of the Ryzhovsky Pond near Moscow.

– The fact that the Altai Territory will be represented in the Russian team is a very high and worthy result, – says Nikolai Dyadenko.

It should be noted that by order of the Russian Ministry of Sports dated November 30, 2021, an employee of the regional Federal Penitentiary Service was awarded the title of “Master of Sports of Russia in fishing”.
