102 million rubles are provided for the provision of palliative care in inpatient and outpatient settings, including at home.

Children’s hospice “House with a lighthouse” received a grant in the amount of 102 million rubles. The corresponding resolution was signed by Sergei Sobyanin.

The funds were allocated to provide palliative care in inpatient and outpatient settings, including at home, in 2022.

Children’s Hospice “House with a Lighthouse” is a private medical charity for terminally ill children and adults under 25 years old. Comprehensive medical, social, psychological and spiritual care is provided to patients and their families. All medical and social services are provided free of charge. The hospice team consists of over 400 specialists and 400 volunteers.

In 2021, specialists from the hospice mobile teams made over 11,000 home visits to 650 patients.

For situations when children with their parents need to go to the hospital, there is a hospital for 15 single wards (rooms) at the address: Dolgorukovskaya street, house 30. The building of the hospital was transferred to the “House with a Lighthouse” for gratuitous use for 49 years by order of Sergei Sobyanin. In 2021, 669 people received care in the hospital.
