Russian paratroopers from the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO, who returned to their homeland after the successful completion of their tasks on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, were met by the Ulyanovsk Youth Army.

The guys congratulated the personnel of the 31st Airborne Brigade on returning home without loss and on their duty. At the same time, young patriots became full participants in the solemn formation in honor of the arrival of peacekeeping forces, standing on a par with the military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

In turn, the paratroopers demonstrated to the youth members the equipment, weapons and military equipment of the Russian peacekeeping contingent.

“The actions of our peacekeeping forces show the commitment of the Russian Federation to the goals of defense and law and order and teach the younger generation the basic foundations of the defense doctrine of our state. The members of the Yunarmiya see that our Armed Forces are pursuing only defense goals, and this gives confidence in the fairness of the actions of our country, ”said Vladimir Ulyanov, head of the regional headquarters of the Yunarmiya in the Ulyanovsk region.

Like Ivanovo and Kostroma peers, who had previously met paratroopers of the CSTO forces at the Severny airfield in the Ivanovo region, the Ulyanovsk Yunarmiya see in Russian peacekeepers true heroes for whom there are no impossible tasks, a real example of courage and selfless service to the Fatherland. Many of the guys present, who in everyday life, following the Oath of the Youth Army at any moment, are ready to lend a helping hand to those in trouble, looking at the paratroopers, they firmly decided for themselves what they want to devote their lives to and what to connect their fate with. In the clear eyes of the boys and girls, one could read the desire to do good, preserve peace and tranquility, help neighboring countries and, if necessary, protect its citizens, as required by sacred military duty.

Together with the members of the Yunarmiya peacekeepers at the Vostochny airfield were met by representatives of the command of the Airborne Forces, as well as relatives and friends of Russian military personnel.

Recall that it is planned to complete the return to the points of permanent deployment of all peacekeepers who performed tasks in Kazakhstan to protect the civilian population and strategic facilities during the riots by January 19.
