In the Biryulyovo Zapadnoye district, a house was put into operation under the renovation program, said the head Moscow Construction Department Rafik Zagrutdinov.

The house is located at the address: Kharkovskiy proezd, possession 1/1. It has 312 apartments: 80 one-room, 208 two-room and 24 three-room. The ground floor will house infrastructure facilities, a public information center and technical facilities. In the lobby of the residential part there will be concierge rooms, wheelchairs and storerooms. Passenger-and-freight elevators are equipped with visual and tactile information.

“This is the first house that was put into operation under the renovation program this year. Four apartments are equipped for residents with limited mobility, they have increased the width of corridors and doorways, and installed special plumbing. Finished and improved finishes in the new apartments fully comply with the standards of the renovation program, approved by the Decree of the Moscow Government. The yards are equipped with five playgrounds and three sports grounds, as well as a territory for residents to relax and walk,” said Rafik Zagrutdinov.

Chairman Mosgosstroynadzor Igor Voystratenkonoted that the department pays special attention to facilities being built under the renovation program.

“In the construction of residential buildings, a total of 27 inspections were carried out, including 13 inspections under the inspection program. Experts from the Center of Expertise were involved in the inspections at all stages,” he added.

Igor Voystratenko also clarified that experts from the Center for Expertise, Research and Testing in Construction participated in eight inspections. They checked the quality of materials, evaluated the work of builders.

The renovation program was approved in 2017. About a million Muscovites from 5,175 old houses will move into modern apartments with improved finishes.
