All peacekeepers, military equipment and weapons from the contingent of the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO, which performed the tasks of protecting socially significant facilities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, returned home.

The last four aircraft of the military transport aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces landed at the Chkalovsky airfield near Moscow. They were also visited by the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent headed by Colonel General Andrei Serdyukov.

Earlier, peacekeeping contingents of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, and the Republic of Tajikistan returned home by planes of the military transport aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces. Peacekeepers from the Kyrgyz Republic returned home, having marched as part of a column with standard equipment and weapons.

In total, in the period from January 6 to January 19, 2022, 212 flights were made by aircraft of the military transport aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces to transfer the peacekeeping contingent and return home.

More than 20 flights of military transport aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces transported over 2.2 thousand Russian and foreign citizens to the Russian Federation from the Republic of Kazakhstan.
