The total amount of such contracts has almost doubled in two years.

Last year, customers from Moscow concluded 277.2 thousand contracts for supplier portal. The total amount of transactions amounted to 47.8 billion rubles. Of these 40 billion rubles – purchases from small and medium-sized businesses, said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov.

“More than 220,000 goods, works and services were purchased from representatives of small and medium-sized businesses – this is almost 80 percent of all contracts concluded on the supplier portal. The amount under such contracts is growing every year: in 2019 it amounted to 21.2 billion rubles, in 2020 it grew to almost 34 billion rubles, in 2021 it reached 40.4 billion rubles,” he said.

Most often, the objects of city purchases last year were construction goods and equipment: communications equipment, office equipment, electronics, including software. The most popular services were maintenance, maintenance and current repairs.

“Thanks to the capabilities of the supplier portal, entrepreneurs from all regions of Russia can work with Moscow customers and offer their goods, services and works. Any individual entrepreneur, legal entity or individual, including the self-employed, can register on the portal free of charge. To do this, only an enhanced qualified electronic signature is needed, ”said the head Department of Information Technologies of Moscow Edward Lysenko.

According to him, artificial intelligence technologies help to understand the work of the platform. The neural network itself offers a choice of suitable categories, and the chatbot explains in detail how to register and participate in quotation sessions. In addition, personal selections are formed for users based on information about purchases in which entrepreneurs have already participated.

“Today, the portal is a convenient working tool for participating in procurement with government customers and commercial organizations. In 2021, the showcase of goods and services of the supplier portal was updated, it became possible to subscribe to purchases in a specific region and create a supplier’s business card website for additional promotion of the goods and services provided without investments from the entrepreneur,” said the head

Moscow Department for Competition Policy Ivan Shcherbakov.

The supplier portal was launched in 2013. Automation of small purchases increases competition between suppliers, allows you to objectively evaluate the market for proposals and learn about the fulfillment of obligations. Every day, more than a thousand contracts are concluded on the portal, on average, during quotation sessions, prices are reduced by 13.3 percent.

More than 250 thousand suppliers are registered in the service. 90 percent of them are small and medium-sized entrepreneurs. For two years, users have published about 7.2 thousand purchases with a potential volume of more than 2.3 billion rubles.
