The visitors learned about the history and work of the capital’s industry, employees of enterprises and their advanced developments.

In 2021, seven open-air photo exhibitions dedicated to the work of industry were held in the capital. More than 80 industrial enterprises took part in them. This was announced by the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow Alexander Prokhorov.

“We have been holding photo exhibitions about the work of the capital’s industry as part of the Open#Mosprom project since 2019. The expositions are located on the central streets of the city, thanks to which all residents and guests of the capital have the opportunity to get acquainted with the history of Moscow industry, its military exploits and employees, learn about the work of modern industries and advanced developments of the future. During the existence of the project, we have already managed to hold 18 photo exhibitions,” said Alexander Prokhorov.

The first exhibition of the last year “Legendary brands of the Moscow industry, time-tested” was dedicated to famous products and their history. The visitors learned where the name of the Cheryomushki plant’s “Charodeika” cake came from, how Druzhba processed cheese is produced, and what the first plane of the Tupolev enterprise was.

The exhibition “Made in the SEZ” Technopolis “Moscow”” told about modern developments. Muscovites and guests of the city could see photos of 30 high-tech enterprises of the special economic zone. The pictures show the production of medicines and the issuance of SIM cards, as well as details of the new metro trains.

In the spring, an exposition about employees of Moscow industrial enterprises was placed on two boulevards of the capital, timed to coincide with International Women’s Day. The visitors learned about the hobbies and hobbies of women of various professions – from a fashion designer and sewing shop master to a milling machine, fitter and instructor pilot.

In April, the exhibition “Moscow Industry to Space: From the Machine Tool to the Stars” was held, in which more than 20 enterprises of the city took part. They produce rockets, develop parts and electronics for them, produce food and clothing for astronauts. Visitors could see rare archival footage and learn interesting historical facts. In total, there are more than 40 enterprises in the space industry in the city, Moscow is still the center of the rocket and space industry.

To create the photo exhibition #FollowMeTo The Moscow Industry, dedicated to the aesthetics of the capital’s industrial enterprises, the authors of the world-famous travel art project #FollowMeTo Murad and Natalya Osmann were invited. Also, the pictures were taken by eight more popular photo artists on social networks, specializing in urban, architectural and landscape photography.

The exhibition “Kaleidoscope” Mosprom “” showed the work of 40 industries of the city. Visitors could see in detail the process of creating cables, glasses, medicines, doors and other products.

“The best in sports – the best in business” was the final exhibition of the year. It was dedicated to the main sporting event of the capital’s industrialists – the Mosprom-2021 Spartakiad. The photographs capture the bright moments of the competition and the victory of athletes.

The Open#Mosprom project was created in March 2019. Within its framework, offline and online excursions to industrial enterprises of the capital, lectures, master classes, intellectual games and other events are held. More than 19 thousand people have already taken part in offline events, and the online audience of the project exceeds 10 million viewers. During its existence, Open#Mosprom has conducted almost 600 excursions to more than 70 industrial enterprises and their museums.
