The crews of the Ka-52 Alligator multi-purpose combat attack helicopters of the army aviation brigade of the Southern Military District (SMD) in the Rostov Region have begun mastering the complex elements of flight training necessary for air combat.

The high and all-weather performance characteristics of the helicopter allow Ka-52 pilots to use complex aerobatic maneuvers not only in the course of performing combat practical tasks from standard weapons, but also when practicing takeoffs and landings to ensure invulnerability from a possible attack by sabotage groups.

Performing such maneuvers allows you to hit ground targets, continuously circling around them, as well as to conduct aimed fire with enveloping the terrain vertically and horizontally. The need to perform this method of maneuvering significantly increases the survivability of the helicopter in combat. At the same time, the crews can effectively hit any mobile and immovable objects of a mock enemy.

The design of the helicopter is designed in such a way that the Ka-52 is capable of firing on the move without changing the flight path, turning towards the target. This fully justifies its name “shock”.

Young pilots who have undergone special flight training under the guidance of instructors-mentors are also allowed to fly. The result of the training will be the performance by the crews of control exercises to confirm flight qualifications.
