You can vote for the most beautiful festive decoration of the capital’s shops, cafes, restaurants, shopping centers and consumer services.
In the Active Citizen project, five votings began at once. Participants will choose the winners of the competition for the best New Year’s decoration of the facades of trade and service enterprises.
Voting takes place in five categories: “The best design of a catering establishment”, “The best design of a non-chain store”, “Best Online Store Design”, “Best shopping mall decor” and “The best design of a consumer services enterprise”.
It was the first time such a competition was organized in the winter season. Applications were accepted from December 27 to January 13 on the mos.ru portal. Of all the participants, the professional jury selected 20 of the brightest contenders in each category, except for the nomination “The best design of a consumer services enterprise.” It includes 18 applicants.
“All participants of the Active Citizen project who have a full or standard account on the mos.ru portal can vote. In each nomination, according to the voting results, three winners will be selected who have received the maximum number of votes. Thus, out of 98 participants who have reached the audience voting stage, 15 contestants will immediately receive awards,” said Alexander Pishchelko, head of the New Management Technologies GKU, which is responsible for the development of the project.
The total prize fund of the competition is 50 million rubles. Each of the winners with the most votes in their category will receive five million. 3 million rubles will be awarded for the second place, and 2 million rubles for those who will be in the third position according to the voting results.
The winners of the contest will be announced on February 5th.
Project “Active Citizen” appeared in 2014. During this time, more than 5.7 million people have joined it. Participants decide which streets, courtyards and parks need to be improved, how city clinics, libraries, multifunctional centers should work, and also choose events for festivals and holidays.
