At the Molkino training ground in the Krasnodar Territory, special forces of the 49th Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District (SMD) mastered the technique of covert penetration into especially protected objects of a mock enemy.

According to the plan of the exercises, special forces groups were thrown by Mi-8AMTSh helicopters into the rear of a mock enemy and parachuted from a height of 900 m on modern Arbalet-2 parachute systems.

During the TSU, the servicemen performed the landing and camouflage of parachutes, covert advancement to a given area in radio silence mode, and capture of a strategically important object of a mock enemy.

The special forces have practiced techniques and methods for long-term covert surveillance of imaginary enemy targets, as well as elements of combat by mobile groups and the defense of important military facilities.

More than 400 servicemen of the Southern Military District took part in the event, more than 25 units of military and special equipment were involved.
