On the Day of Engineering Troops, an exhibition dedicated to the 321st anniversary of the formation of the troops was opened at the headquarters of the Baltic Fleet.

The exhibition, which includes more than 500 exhibits, illustrates the development of equipment for military engineers to perform various tasks, including demining, building crossings, diving, assaulting fortified objects, etc. The exposition presents a wide range of standard domestic engineering ammunition, a variety of search and detection of explosive objects and other equipment, as well as samples of improvised explosive devices used by terrorists in the North Caucasus and the Syrian Arab Republic.

The Commander of the Baltic Fleet, Vice Admiral Viktor Liina, visited the exhibition, during which he got acquainted with the history of the creation of the engineering units of the fleet, presented samples of engineering weapons, demining equipment and other engineering equipment.

The exhibition will function for several days, allowing officers of departments, departments and services of the headquarters of the Baltic Fleet to learn more about the history and modernity of the engineering troops of Russia.
