In 2022, the separate engineering brigade of the Central Military District (TsVO) stationed in Bashkiria will receive the latest engineering systems for remote mining (ISDM) “Agriculture”. This was announced by the head of the engineering troops of the Central Military District, Colonel Andrey Gandzyuk.

“By the end of this year, we are planning to get the unique system of remote mining “Agriculture” into service with the engineering troops of the district for the first time,” said Colonel Andrey Gandzyuk.

He noted that the installation of minefields with the help of ISDM “Agriculture” has a number of advantages: “In particular, the speed of laying minefields has been increased, especially in hard-to-reach areas. And the ability of mines to deactivate or self-destruct at a given time ensures safe and quick demining after the cessation of hostilities,” said Colonel Andriy Gandzyuk.

The engineering system includes a combat vehicle on the chassis of a KamAZ vehicle, a transport-loading vehicle and transport-launch containers with engineering ammunition equipped with mines of various types.
