On the territory of the Luzhniki Olympic Complex, the construction of the building of Sambo and Boxing Centers continues – a unique complex for martial arts lovers, designed to conduct both training and international competitions.
To date, construction has been completed by 74 percent, said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government for Urban Planning Policy and Construction Andrey Bochkarev. According to him, the structural design of the building and the roof are already completely ready.
“At the moment, facade work, the installation of internal drainage and water supply systems, ventilation and power supply are nearing completion. The installation of other engineering systems continues, and interior decoration is also in a high degree of readiness,” the deputy mayor added.
Sambo and boxing centers will be placed symmetrically under a common facade. They will be able to work independently of each other – the streams of visitors will not overlap. A special feature will be the mirrored ceiling and the stained glass facade, designed in such a way that what is happening inside the building can be observed from the street.
Since 2011, within the framework of the state program “Sport of Moscow” Was built about 150 sports infrastructure facilities. By the end of 2024, it is planned to build 31 sports facilities. Moscow will have 23 sports and recreation complexes, seven specialized sports facilities and one free-standing swimming pool. Among them are a tennis palace, a surfing park and an ice palace.
