The boundaries of the priority development area (TOR) “Komsomolsk” will be expanded to include new land plots located in the Khabarovsk Territory. The decision was approved by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The decision will help create conditions for the creation of a mining and processing plant at the Malmyzhskoye field. Its productivity will be 90 million tons of ore per year.

The construction of the enterprise is planned to be completed in 2025. Thanks to him, more than 2 thousand new jobs will appear in the Khabarovsk Territory, and at least 77.9 billion rubles of private investment will enter the region’s economy during the period of the investor’s activity.

TOP is a special tool for the development of territories, designed to stimulate priority sectors of the economy and attract new investors, thereby contributing to the growth of the well-being of residents of the regions. Residents of the ASEZ have access to a wide range of benefits and preferences, including reduced rates on taxes and insurance premiums and a free customs zone procedure.

In total, 22 priority development areas have been created in the Far Eastern Federal District. The number of residents is 554, the volume of investments under agreements is more than 4.4 trillion rubles. At the same time, more than 1.4 trillion rubles of private investments have already been invested and more than 45 thousand jobs have been created.
