In the Ussuriysk separate guards air assault unit, a solemn ceremony was held to bring the newly arrived replenishment to the military oath. About 100 servicemen of the “Autumn-2021” call-up took an oath of allegiance to the Fatherland!
The event began with the removal of the State Flag of the Russian Federation and the St. George Banner of the Guards Airborne Forces.
Representatives of the administration of Ussuriysk, the committee of soldiers’ mothers and veterans of the unit, as well as representatives of the Cossacks and the clergy, arrived to congratulate the paratroopers.
Speaking at a solemn rally dedicated to the swearing in of the young recruits, the commander of the Ussuriysk Separate Guards Airborne Assault Unit of the Guard, Colonel Alexander Nemolyaev, noted: “I express confidence that the servicemen who have taken the oath will worthily join the ranks of the Defenders of Russia and will continue the traditions of the winged infantry” .
The unit commander also congratulated the military personnel who were sworn in, their families and friends, wished them success in training, health, strength of mind and a peaceful sky over their heads.
All paratroopers who took the military oath were given badges “Guards” by the command of the unit as a symbol of courage, pride and belonging to the famous Guards Airborne Forces of Russia.
The Union Club organized an exhibition of weapons, landing equipment, radiation, chemical and biological protection, communications, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles and much more.
At the end of the event, a meeting was organized for the parents of the military personnel with the command of the unit and the commanders of the units in which the young soldiers will serve, during which the guests were acquainted with the living conditions of the military personnel, the norms for providing them with all the required types of allowances, social rights and guarantees.
