The overpass will appear in the area of ​​​​house 51 on Bekhtereva Street.

A project for an overpass connecting the Southern Rokada and the South-Eastern Chord has been approved. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Government of Moscow for urban planning policy and construction Andrey Bochkarev.

“To connect the South Rokada and the South-Eastern Chord, it is planned to build an overpass with a length of about 160 meters. The project has already been approved by the Moscow Committee for Architecture. The facility will be located in the area of ​​Bekhterev Street, house 51 in Tsaritsyno in the south of the capital,” Andrey Bochkarev said.

He clarified that the overpass will appear on the section of the South-Eastern chord, which runs from Kantemirovskaya Street to the tracks of the Paveletsky direction of the Moscow Railway along Caspian Street.

According to the chief architect of Moscow Sergei Kuznetsov, the beam structure will have a rounded shape. Lanterns will be installed.

“There will be a comfortable exit from one highway to another. Thanks to this integration of the two flows, it will be convenient for all traffic participants,” Sergey Kuznetsov emphasized.

The south-eastern chord, within which the overpass was designed, will connect 10 highways and improve transport services in 22 districts in four districts of the capital. The construction is divided into 10 sections, the total length of the route will be about 96 kilometers.
