Specialists of the humanitarian response center of the Russian peacekeeping contingent presented gifts to more than 50 children from low-income families in the Mardakert region of Nagorno-Karabakh as part of a humanitarian action.
“Today a humanitarian action was held in the village of Kochogot, Mardakert region. 54 children received gifts and 40 kg of sweets. It is also planned this week to hold a humanitarian action in the village of Dzhenetek, Mardakert region,” said Alexander Kudrin, a representative of the Russian peacekeeping contingent.
During the humanitarian action at the school in the village of Kochogot, Russian peacekeepers, together with benefactors, presented children with toys and sweet gifts. Also, Russian peacekeepers planned to hold a similar humanitarian action together with public benefactors in the village of Dzhenetek, Mardakert region, Nagorno-Karabakh.
“We want to thank the peacekeeping forces, all the kind people who financed all this, our children were very happy. I wish you all a peaceful sky and health,” said Zarina Adamyan, a resident of Kochogot village.
Specialists of the humanitarian response center of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in the first quarter of 2022, together with philanthropists, will carry out more than 30 humanitarian actions for needy residents in cities and remote areas of Nagorno-Karabakh.
In accordance with the agreements indicated in the joint statement of the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, from 00:00 Moscow time on November 10, 2020, a complete ceasefire and all hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh were declared.
To control the ceasefire and hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh, a peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation is deployed.
