The crews of anti-sabotage patrol boats of the Novorossiysk naval base of the Black Sea Fleet, as part of an exercise to ensure the protection of civilian ships on the territory of the Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port, discovered and detained conditional underwater saboteurs.

According to the plan of the exercise, a group of anti-sabotage boats of the Rook type sent a signal to the control panel of the duty forces of the NVMB about the discovery of an “unknown underwater group moving object” in the waters of the Tsemess Bay, with the help of detection stations, the coordinates of the target were established and a command was given to intercept it. As a result of the operation, conditional underwater saboteurs were neutralized.

For reference: anti-sabotage patrol boats of the Grachonok project are capable of operating in the coastal zone of the seas, straits and estuaries. Their equipment allows them to carry out assigned tasks at any time of the day at distances up to 100 miles from their deployment points.
