More than 240 students completed internships in various specialties in 20 companies of the special economic zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow in 2021. Head announced this Department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow Alexander Prokhorov.
“The Mikron plant became the record holder for the number of trainees, where almost 60 students of higher and secondary educational institutions received practical knowledge in the field of microelectronics last year. Other representatives of the microelectronic cluster also actively cooperated with the students, including the companies Neoros, Electroninvest, and Profotek. In total, more than 240 students completed internships at enterprises,” he said.
Technopolis has been actively working with young people for several years to support students’ interest in innovation and help them take their first steps in their careers. Residents themselves are also interested in the development of human resources.
“Students have new knowledge, which is so necessary when working with advanced technologies. Based on the results of internships, students can enter the personnel reserve of companies and even start working. During the survey, which took place in the metropolitan SEZ, 32 companies expressed their readiness to employ a total of 264 interns,” said Gennady Degtev, General Director of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ.
The SEZ “Technopolis “Moscow”” is implementing the project “Vacancies and internships”, within the framework of which published on the portal more than 100 vacancies for residents. Among them are job advertisements for both interns and permanent employees. More than 360 resumes of applicants are also posted on the portal. Within the framework of the project, work is underway with 20 leading universities of the capital, including the Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology, Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, Moscow State Technical University named after N.E. Bauman, Moscow State Technological University “Stankin” and others. The technopolis also interacts with residents of all sites on personnel issues, an HR club has been created for discussion.
The Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone includes five sites located on 223.3 hectares. One of them is located in the Pechatniki district, four – in Zelenograd (Alabushevo, Mikron, Angstrem and MIET). The city provides special support to the residents of the technopolis. Thus, they are exempted from property, transport, land tax and customs duties. The income tax rate for them is only two percent. There are also incentives for the lease of land allocated for the construction of an enterprise, which companies can buy out for an amount equal to one percent of its cadastral value.
