Since 2021, cosmetic products from Moscow have been sent to Switzerland, Morocco, the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica.

Most cosmetics are transported to Belarus, which purchased cosmetics worth $86.4 million. Kazakhstan purchased goods worth $82.6 million, Uzbekistan – $30.7 million, Azerbaijan – almost $21 million, Georgia – $15.3 million. They account for 66.1 percent of Moscow cosmetics exports.

Its employees conduct preliminary negotiations with buyers, check their interest. Last year, with their help, 127 capital companies participated in 14 business missions and 10 international exhibitions in industrial and agro-industrial areas. As part of these events, more than 1.6 thousand b2b meetings were held. Buyer events have taken place in Latin America, Europe, East Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

In addition, the capital’s manufacturers of cosmetic products in overseas markets are supported Moscow export center. He also helps to participate in business missions and foreign exhibitions, to finance acceleration programs. The WEC supports online export on more than 90 platforms, places goods in duty free, conducts consultations, webinars and conferences, selects buyers, and is engaged in pilot support programs (international retail networks).

Thanks to the center, capital companies can sell goods on foreign electronic platforms. For example, in 2021, the company signed a contract for the supply of children’s cosmetics with partners from Armenia and Germany. Currently, placement and promotion programs are available for cosmetic companies on the Chinese marketplaces Epinduo and Taobao, as well as on the German platform Kaufland.

Last year, 10 cosmetics manufacturers were selected to host the Russian Commodities Pavillion in the Chinese city of Chengdu. Several more manufacturers presented their products for free in the duty free of Sheremetyevo Airport. Moscow companies involved in the cosmetics sector participated in business missions with partners from France, China, Israel, Hungary, the United Arab Emirates, the CIS countries and other countries. They also had an online business mission as part of the Intercharm Korea exhibition. Thus, one of the graduates of the Exporters 2.0 program began selling cosmetics in Turkmenistan, Vietnam and Uzbekistan.

Cosmetic products are also supplied abroad by the Moscow Region, the Stavropol Territory, St. Petersburg and the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
