Musicians of the Military Academy of Radiation, Chemical and Biological (RCB) Protection named after Marshal of the Soviet Union S.K. Timoshenko performed in Yaroslavl at the Valery Khalilov International Music Festival.

On the stage of the Yaroslavl State Philharmonic, together with the military orchestra of the Yaroslavl Higher Military School of Air Defense, music lovers were presented with a bright and varied program from the works of Lieutenant General Valery Khalilov.

Behind the conductor’s stand were military conductors – Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant Colonel Eduard Klein and Major Timur Rakhmetullin, as well as veterans of the military orchestra service, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation Alexander Klimenko, majors Anatoly Zubarev and Sergey Boldyrev.

The combined military band of the Kostroma and Yaroslavl garrisons performed popular works by the composer.

The highlight of the concert was the performance of the soloists of the State Philharmonic of the Kostroma Region Elena Sanzharevskaya, Vladimir Volkov, Tatyana Sagina, the soloist of the Debut vocal studio Olga Belkina, the laureate of international competitions Alexander Sukhanov and the clarinet ensemble. The festival evening ended with the performance by all participants of the song to the words of Alexander Savitsky “Forever a great country.”
