This will be possible thanks to the implementation of a program to stimulate the creation of places of employment.

As part of the city’s program to stimulate the creation of work places outside the Third Transport Ring (TTK), new jobs will appear. 17 agreements have already been concluded with investors, Sergey Sobyanin wrote on his page in social network “Twitter”.

In exchange for financial benefits, developers will build industrial, commercial, public and business and social facilities with a total area of more than one million square meters. In 2020, the Government of Moscow began to implement the program to stimulate the creation of work places. Under its terms, developers who build so-called places of employment outside the city center (real estate that provides job creation) can receive a fee relief for changing the type of permitted use of the site for housing construction. The program will also help solve the problem of commuting, reduce traffic and unload urban public transport.

“The city has already signed 17 agreements with investors under the program for creating work places. According to them, developers will build schools and kindergartens, industrial technology parks, shopping and business centers, and an industrial complex. The total area of all objects will be more than one million square meters. Investors will invest 83.4 billion rubles in the implementation of these projects. The city will provide developers with benefits for 38 billion rubles, and in return it will receive 29.7 thousand new jobs,” said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations

Vladimir Efimov.

Six schools, five kindergartens, two retail and office buildings, seven business centers, five technology parks, two shopping and entertainment centers and one industrial complex will be built. Objects in accordance with the program will appear in all districts, except for the Central Administrative District of Moscow.

More than half of the jobs – 19.2 thousand – will appear in office and business centers, as well as in trade and catering enterprises. 9.5 thousand jobs will appear at modern production facilities and technology parks, and a little more than a thousand more at social facilities built under the program.

The largest in terms of the number of jobs created was an agreement with a major developer who will build a shopping complex in the South-Eastern Administrative District, an industrial park in the South-Western Administrative District and a business center in the west of the capital. The area of buildings will be 137.1 thousand square meters, in total, about 5.2 thousand people will get jobs there.

And in Zelenograd, the developer will build an industrial technopark with an area of 100.5 thousand square meters. 2.5 thousand jobs will be created there.

In addition, four schools and four kindergartens with a total area of more than 121.2 thousand square meters will be built in the TiNAO, in the west and north of the capital. 754 people will be able to work there.
