The Black Sea Fleet (BSF) conducted a tactical-special exercise to combat underwater saboteurs of a mock enemy and ensure the safety of fleet ships at base points, as well as during parking on an unprotected roadstead.

To carry out the task of searching for conditional saboteurs, the Kalmar search and survey complex (POK) was involved, with the help of which an unidentified group of divers was discovered underwater.

According to the legend of the exercise, after the discovery of the “saboteurs”, the military personnel of the squad for combating sabotage forces and means (PDSS) of the fleet carried out a descent from the board of a multi-purpose anti-sabotage boat of the “Rook” type.

During the training battle, conditional saboteurs were destroyed using special underwater small arms, after which the military personnel of the PDSS detachment inspected the area for the presence of mine-explosive devices installed on the roadstead and ships at the base.

The special tactical exercise was carried out in accordance with the plan of combat training and daily activities of the forces (troops) of the Black Sea Fleet in the winter training period.
