As part of the celebration of the days of military glory of Russia – the 79th anniversary of the breakthrough of the blockade of Leningrad and the 78th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the fascist blockade – at the Military Institute (Engineering and Technical) of the Military Academy of Logistics, Deputy Head of the Institute for Military-Political Work, Colonel Alexei Kapinus, employees of the museum and club complex and teachers of the Department of Military-Political Work in the Troops (Forces) held a thematic evening “Lessons of Courage of Leningraders”.

During the meeting, residents of the besieged city shared their memories with junior cadets – members of the public organization of veterans of St. Petersburg “Peterhof-Strelninsky landing”, including Honored Teacher of the Russian Federation Bella Noevna Bilalova, Elena Markovna Gvozdova – daughter of a front-line doctor, Natalya Vladlenovna Popova – daughter of a graduate of VITKA Navy, defender of Leningrad and others.

The cadets sincerely thanked the guests, handed them flowers, and left a group photo as a keepsake.
