These measures are aimed at ensuring the safety of patients and dealing with a new wave of the coronavirus pandemic.

The capital has a high incidence of COVID-19 among children. In two weeks, it increased 14 times – from two thousand a week to 28 thousand, and the number of hospitalizations – 10 times (120 children per day). Almost half of the children hospitalized with COVID-19 have been transferred from hospitals where they were treated for other illnesses.

In order to reduce the risk of infection of the most vulnerable categories of children in the city, it was decided to suspend planned hospitalization in children’s hospitals for three weeks. These temporary changes do not apply to the planned hospitalization of small patients with oncological and hematological diseases for anticancer treatment, as well as for other diseases or conditions that do not allow for delay in the provision of medical care. Emergency medical care will be provided in full, without exception, to all children.

Citizens are asked to treat the forced measures with understanding. They are aimed at ensuring the safety of patients and coping with a new wave of the coronavirus pandemic.

Muscovites with symptoms of SARS can make an appointment with the doctor on duty online. This will minimize the accumulation of a large number of patients at one time. You can make an appointment on the portal in the section “Doctor’s Appointment”, on the website in the section “Doctor’s appointment” and in the mobile application “EMIAS.INFO” in the “Record” section. Patients who do not use digital services can still come to the doctor on duty without calling first in first come first serve.

The Operational Headquarters reminds: the best prevention of coronavirus infection is vaccination. Vaccination against COVID-19can be done by appointment at one of the vaccination centers based on polyclinics, as well as without an appointment at the points of work of mobile teams in popular public places.
