Most of the sales contracts were concluded in the east of the city.
Last year, citizens purchased more than 10,000 parking spaces from the city. This was told by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov.
“Places that the city offers for purchase are in demand among Muscovites and participants in the capital’s auctions. If in 2020 2.7 thousand sales contracts were concluded, then in 2021 – already 10.2 thousand. Of these, 9.2 thousand were privatized at auction, and more than a thousand were sold by pre-emptive right – for 60 percent of the market value,” the deputy mayor said.
The property of the city was sold at the auction, as well as objects that are in the operational management of the State Unitary Enterprise “Center for Management of City Property” and the State Budgetary Institution “Zhilischnik” of Moscow districts. According to the pre-emptive right – without bidding and for 60 percent of the market value – apartment owners and citizens living under social tenancy agreements can purchase a parking space in the parking lot of the house.
“Last year, most contracts for the sale and purchase of parking spaces were concluded in the east of the city – over 3.5 thousand objects, in the center and in the north-west – more than a thousand units each. The most budget parking place is located on Nikulinskaya street (CJSC). The new owner paid 35 thousand rubles for it. And the most expensive one is in the city center, on Ostozhenka street. It was bought for 4.3 million rubles,” said the head of the Department of City Property of the City of Moscow
