Specialists of the Housing and Communal Service No. 4 (Novorossiysk) of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution (FGBU) “Central Housing and Communal Administration” (“TsZhKU”) of the Russian Ministry of Defense for the Southern Military District (SMD) summed up the interim results of work during the heating period.

The serviced objects of ZhCS No. 4 are administrative buildings, barracks and housing stock and socially significant facilities, as well as communal facilities (boiler rooms, treatment facilities, water pumping stations). Of these, the number of boiler houses and small heat generating facilities is 60 units.

An important task during the heating season was to prevent interruptions in the supply of heat, in connection with which the analysis of fuel residues in the boiler depots is carried out daily. Throughout the heating season, the standard reserve of boiler fuel is maintained in the required volume: for solid fuel boilers – for 52 days, for liquid fuels – for 37 days.

Given the amount of fuel consumed, the main efforts are directed to the implementation of the energy efficiency program. During the heating period, the housing and communal services managed to achieve a significant reduction in energy costs. Planned and implemented measures aimed at reducing the cost of electricity, fuel, water resources.

More than 20 modern thermal energy metering units have been installed, allowing to control the supply of heat carrier in real time. Energy costs decreased without loss in quality for consumers by 5%.

Immediately after the end of the heating season 2021-2022, employees of the housing and communal services will begin to prepare and repair on their own at all communal facilities for the new heating season 2022-2023.
