Maria Frolova, senior researcher at the Belorechensk City Historical Museum, delivered a lecture to juvenile convicts on the topic: “Belorechensk District during the Great Patriotic War.”

The teenagers were shown a patriotic video presentation “To Liberation” and photographs from the museum archive. Among the presented documents, copies of award lists and personal letters of the Red Army soldiers who went to the front from the settlements of the Belorechensky district are of particular value.

Pupils got acquainted with the chronicle of the events of the Great Patriotic War and learned new information about their heroic countrymen. The interesting and rich narration of the museum worker aroused keen interest among the young audience.

Meetings with historians broaden the horizons of adolescents, and also help employees and teachers of the Belorechenskaya VK to carry out successful resocialization of pupils.
