According to the Deputy Prime Minister, more than 1 trillion rubles will be allocated from the federal budget for the construction, reconstruction and repair of roads in 2022 (for federal roads – 793.7 billion rubles, for regional roads – 255.6 billion rubles), and before the subjects the task was to complete the contracting for the current year by March 1.

Speaking about federal roads, Marat Khusnullin noted that in 2022 it is planned to build and reconstruct 223 km and repair 6.7 thousand km of federal roads. The active construction of the M-12 Moscow-Nizhny Novgorod-Kazan highway will also continue with the continuation of the road to Yekaterinburg and further to Tyumen and Chelyabinsk, as well as the implementation of all other federal projects within the Safe and High-Quality Roads national project and the Comprehensive Plan for Modernization and Expansion backbone infrastructure.

The Deputy Prime Minister spoke about some plans for road construction in the regions in 2022. According to him, it is planned to complete the construction of a bridge across the Sheksna River in the city of Cherepovets, Vologda Region, which will provide conditions for public transport and give a new impetus to the development of the city. A section of the Rostov transport ring will also be introduced – a bypass of the city of Aksai with a length of 17 km in the Rostov region on the M-4 Don highway. According to Marat Khusnullin, construction and reconstruction of a 38-kilometer section of the road from Sochi to Crimea, including a bypass of the city of Anapa, will be completed on the Novorossiysk-Kerch federal highway, and a 27-kilometer bypass of the city will be built in Maykop on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Republic of Adygea.
