As part of the planned operational and combat training, the Marine Corps units of the Caspian Flotilla were raised on a training alert and began to march in a combined way to the Scorpion training ground.
During the movement, the servicemen practiced overcoming areas of contaminated terrain, and also repelled attacks by sabotage and reconnaissance groups of a mock enemy.
Upon arrival at the training ground, the units will work out a wide range of tasks, including actions as part of units and as part of a formation. Combat firing exercises will also be held using various types of aviation, missile divisions and ship groups of the Caspian Flotilla.
