Specialists of the municipal services complex will improve the area near the Nekrasovka metro station this year. The area is developing, now a shopping and entertainment center and three underground pedestrian crossings are being built there, a square will be laid out.

“In this regard, it became necessary to put in order the section of Pokrovskaya Street where they are located, from Projected Proyezd No. 598 to Rozhdestvenskaya Street,” said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Communal Services and Improvement

Overhead lines will be removed underground into cable ducts, sidewalks will be updated and the road surface will be replaced. Also, specialists will equip convenient walking routes with benches and information steles, install more than 50 lanterns with energy-saving lamps.

“The main objective of the project is to make the area comfortable and functional for local residents,” emphasized Petr Biryukov. “Therefore, it is planned to create a new walking area, a flat parking area of ​​almost two thousand square meters will be repaired for motorists, a walking area will be put in order for dog owners and new equipment will be installed there.”

In addition, the square on Pokrovskaya Street will be landscaped. In addition, 25 trees and 230 shrubs will be planted near the metro, as well as a lawn with a total area of ​​6.7 thousand square meters.

The first section of the Nekrasovskaya metro line “Kosino” – “Nekrasovka” with a length of 7.9 kilometers was opened in July 2019. And on March 27, 2020, the second section was opened – from Yugo-Vostochnaya to Lefortov. There are 10 stations on the line, and its length is more than 22 kilometers. It partially duplicates the southeastern section of the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line and reduces the load on it by 20 percent.
