On February 1, 2022, a concert of the combined military band of the Military Academy of Radiation, Chemical and Biological (RCB) Protection named after Marshal of the Soviet Union S.K. Timoshenko and the Yaroslavl Higher Military School of Air Defense.
The concert program will consist of popular songs and orchestral works by the composer Vasily Pavlovich Solovyov-Sedoy. This year marks the 115th anniversary of his birth. Wind music lovers will hear such works by the master as the songs “Sailor Nights”, “We, Friends, Migratory Birds”, “It’s Time to Go, the Road”, “Nakhimov’s March”, “Moscow Evenings”. Music from the films “The First Glove” and “Heavenly Slow-moving” will sound.
Soloists Elena Sanzharevskaya, Tatyana Sagina, Olga Belkina, Vladimir Volkov, Tatyana Talanova will take the Philharmonic stage together with military musicians. The audience will also get acquainted with young talents from Kostroma Arseniy Volkov, Yulia Rodionova and Maria Tigilauri. The decoration of the concert program will be the performances of the vocal ensembles “Generation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs” conducted by Ekaterina Serebryakova and “Four Men” conducted by Larisa Koryeva. In the final part of the concert, the military musicians will be joined by the Kostroma City Children’s and Youth Brass Band. This collective group, which will include about 100 servicemen and young performers, will perform the song-march “It’s time to go, go.”
This evening, military conductors, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation Alexander Klimenko, Timur Rakhmetullin, Sergey Boldyrev, Anatoly Zubarev will be at the conductor’s podium. The head and chief conductor of the project is Lieutenant Colonel Eduard Klein, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation. Professor of Kostroma State University Alexei Zyablikov will act as the host of the concert program.
