In Moscow, the increase in the incidence of COVID-19 continues. To facilitate the work of doctors and save time for patients, published Decree of the Mayor of Moscow and the corresponding order Moscow Health Department, according to which in the capital, residents with SARS for the first time will be able to receive audio consultations from doctors and remotely open a sick leave without visiting a polyclinic.

Now people with SARS symptoms have three options.

Firstly, patients can come to the doctor on duty at any nearest polyclinic without making an appointment or calling, or sign up for a specific appointment time at their polyclinic through the website, the EMIAS.INFO mobile application or

Secondly, they can take advantage of the opportunity to receive a medical audio consultation with the remote opening of a sick leave.

“From January 28, with symptoms of SARS, Muscovites will be able to remotely receive an initial audio consultation of a doctor and remotely open a sick leave without visiting a polyclinic. To do this, you need to send an application using the electronic form on the portal, after which the doctor will contact the patient. He will conduct a consultation, issue an electronic prescription for medicines and automatically open a sick leave for SARS for seven days. The closure of the sick leave will also take place remotely after the patient’s well-being is clarified during an audio consultation. You do not need to come to the clinic to receive sick leave. It will be available in the electronic medical record and automatically sent to the employer, ”explained

Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development.

Thirdly, if a Muscovite with symptoms of SARS needs an in-person consultation and examination by a doctor, but he is unable to visit the clinic due to limited mobility or a severe course of the disease, he can call a doctor at home by calling 122.

Earlier in the capital, the procedure for closing a hospital for patients with coronavirus and SARS was simplified – after quarantine and in the absence of symptoms, it can be closed remotely. The doctor from the clinic will call the patient and conduct a consultation. If the state of health allows it to be discharged, the sick leave will be closed remotely and the document will be automatically sent to the employer. If the patient has symptoms and is not ready to go to school or work, the sick leave will be remotely extended.

Also, from January 26, quarantine sick leave for those who have been in contact with COVID-19 patients is closed remotely. To do this, you do not need to come to the clinic or call a doctor, the document is automatically sent to the employer. According to the decision of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor, the quarantine period for coronavirus for this group of citizens has been reduced since January 26. from 14 days to seven. The new rules apply to everyone who received an order from Rospotrebnadzor before January 26. If a citizen who has been in contact with COVID-19 patients was issued sick leave from January 15 to January 21, it will be automatically closed on January 27. This will allow residents to prepare for an earlier start to work. If the sick leave was issued after January 21, it will be closed on the seventh day.

The reduction in quarantine for contact persons also applies to school classes and kindergarten groups where quarantine has been in place for seven days or more. Face-to-face classes for such groups and classes were resumed on January 26 or 27 by the decision of educational institutions. At the initiative of the parents, the current quarantine can be extended to the previously prescribed 14 days.
