At the basing point of the ships for the protection of the water area, the crew of the base minesweeper “Magomed Gadzhiev” of the Caspian Flotilla held scheduled operational and combat training exercises. Their purpose was to test the readiness of the Caspian sailors to counter the sabotage and reconnaissance forces.

After the drill, the ship’s personnel were lined up to receive missions. At the end of the briefing, the crew took up duty stations, engineers and mechanics checked the performance of engines and generators.

As part of anti-sabotage measures, the crew of the base minesweeper on a boat carried out reconnaissance of the area, ship divers carried out an underwater inspection of the ship’s hull for the presence of explosive devices placed on it.

The watch officer conducting the inspection noted the excellent condition of the ship’s guns and technical equipment. The crew of the base minesweeper “Magomed Gadzhiev” also received a positive assessment for operational training and timely successful completion of tasks.
