60 families are already preparing to move into new apartments.

The first new building in Marfin was handed over for settlement under the renovation program. The leader told Department of urban planning policy of the city of Moscow Sergei Levkin.

“Today, the settlement of a new building on Akademika Komarov Street (building 11g) begins. A day earlier, inspection orders for new apartments were sent to residents of building 8 on the street of the same name. 60 families will start moving,” he said.

According to Sergei Levkin, a total of 37 residential buildings in the district were included in the renovation program. About seven thousand families should receive new housing.

“Currently, four launch sites have been selected – in addition to the new building transferred for settlement, one house is being built, preparations are underway at one site for construction and installation work, and urban planning documentation is being developed for another object,” added the head of the Department.

The renovation program was approved in August 2017. For its implementation, 534 launch pads were selected. More than two thousand families have already received apartments under the renovation program in new buildings in the North-Eastern District. In total, 23 houses were transferred for settlement.

In total, 178 new houses with an area of ​​2.3 million square meters were built and put into operation in the capital under the renovation program.
