Now 423 old buildings are being settled.

The resettlement of 37,000 participants in the housing renovation program is scheduled to begin this year. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Government of Moscow for urban planning policy and construction Andrey Bochkarev.

“Since the implementation of the renovation program in the capital, the resettlement of 70 thousand of its participants has been ensured, while almost 50 thousand people have already become owners of new housing. This year, it is planned to begin the resettlement of 37,000 Muscovites,” Andrey Bochkarev noted.

The Deputy Mayor added that a total of 178 houses with a living area of ​​2.3 million square meters have been built since the start of the program. Of these, 149 new buildings were transferred for settlement.

Head of the Department of Urban Planning Policy of the City of Moscow Sergei Levkin recalled that now 423 old buildings are being settled.

“Out of 423 houses, 83 have been dismantled. Subsequently, housing construction is resumed at the demolition site to ensure the wave resettlement of residents,” said the head of the Department.

The renovation program was approved in August 2017. For its implementation, 534 launch pads were selected. Already built and put into operation 178 new houses with an area of ​​2.3 million square meters.
