The crew of the large landing ship (BDK) “Oslyabya”, together with the units of the Marine Corps of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet), worked out the loading of military equipment using the point-blank method. The training took place in the Desantnaya Bay near Vladivostok. It involved BTR-82AM armored personnel carriers, tracked carriers, KamAZ and Ural army trucks, as well as about 100 military personnel.

During the event, the crew of the large landing ship “Oslyabya” worked out the elements of maneuvering and ballasting the ship when receiving and landing an amphibious assault, and the drivers improved their skills in entering the landing ship’s tween deck and leaving the shore.

Naval landing training is one of the main elements of the combat training of marines, which makes it possible to fully work out the coherence of actions and tactics for landing amphibious assault forces on an unequipped coast. Practicing the loading of military equipment onto a landing ship from the shore is a basic element of amphibious assault training.
