The military personnel of the units of the signal troops of the army corps of the Baltic Fleet were trained to organize communications at field command posts.

During the practical part of the event, specialists worked out the tasks of organizing stable and secure communications using open, closed and satellite channels between field and stationary command posts in conditions of active jamming by means of electronic warfare of a mock enemy.

During the radio training, the operation of switching equipment, special equipment and satellite communication channels was checked.

In addition, the servicemen complied with the standards for organizing a radio network at shortwave and ultrashortwave radio stations in the field and providing control points for the district command with videoconferencing using secure data transmission channels.

The event involved modern Redut-2US complexes, Liven satellite communication stations equipped with the GLONASS navigation system, antenna modules, command and control vehicles and radio relay stations.
