About 14 thousand military personnel of the Western Military District have completed a full course of revaccination against coronavirus infection since the beginning of 2022. The category of vaccinated includes military personnel who completed a full course of vaccination before August 1, 2021.

“Immunization in the troops of the Western Military District is at a high level. Almost 4,000 people have been vaccinated this week alone,” said Colonel-General Alexander Zhuravlev, Commander of the Western Military District.

“A batch of 31,000 doses of the vaccine has arrived at the district’s medical facilities. Thus, at all vaccination points, a reserve has been created for more than two weeks of continuous immunization of servicemen and their families,” Alexander Zhuravlev added.

Vaccination is carried out on the basis of the branches of the district military clinical hospital of the Western Military District and medical units of the formations and military units of the district associations. In total, more than 40 vaccination posts have been deployed on the territory of the district and about 50 vaccination teams are operating.
