At the Military Educational and Scientific Center of the Air Force “Air Force Academy named after Professor N.E. Zhukovsky and Yu.A. Gagarin” the VII exhibition of scientific developments “Innovation Day-2021” was held.

The exhibition featured nine thematic expositions: research innovation projects, as well as educational innovation projects and electronic resources.

The first exposition presents the results of scientific research and engineering creativity of the Academy’s employees in the development and improvement of weapons, military and special equipment. Innovative projects are made in the form of concept demonstrators, mock-ups and experimental samples.

The second exposition demonstrated innovative achievements in the field of modern information educational technologies: virtual and interactive simulators, electronic educational resources, software and simulation systems to improve the interactivity and quality of education and training of cadets and students.

In total, about 20 projects and developments in the field of unmanned aircraft, aviation electronic equipment and weapons, airfield technical support for aviation flights, electronic warfare and information security, information technology in the educational process were demonstrated.

The event was held under the leadership of the head of the VUNTS Air Force “Air Force Academy” Colonel General Gennady Zibrov.

A special commission will determine the winners of the exhibition, who will present their developments at the International Military-Technical Forum “Army-2022”, the Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies “Archimedes” and other innovative platforms.
