In Khabarovsk, pupils of the All-Russian children’s and youth military-patriotic public movement “Yunarmiya” took an active part in the “Road of Life” action.

By tradition, the event began with a rally on the Glory Square of the regional capital, dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the complete lifting of the blockade of the Hero City of Leningrad. As part of the “Road of Life” campaign, members of the Yunarmiya laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and honored the memory of the defenders and residents of besieged Leningrad.

Boys and girls from the military patriotic clubs of the Khabarovsk Territory also took part in the commemorative action.

The action is named after the only transport route across Lake Ladoga during the Great Patriotic War, which connected the besieged Leningrad with the country from September 12, 1941 to March 1943.
