In the military units of the Far Eastern formation of the long-range aviation command stationed in the territories of the Amur and Irkutsk regions, as well as in Yakutia and Chukotka, a single legal day was held dedicated to large-scale actions to destabilize the situation in specific countries, carrying out a coup d’état in order to replace the current leadership with loyal Western politicians.

The name “color revolution” was given to the topic due to the fact that flowers often became a symbol of the opposition (“Rose Revolution” in Georgia, “Tulip Revolution” in Kyrgyzstan), or the opposition used the distinctive signs of supporters of a certain color (for example, “Orange Revolution” on Ukraine, 2004).

During the events, the personnel were clearly shown a list of countries in which coup d’état took place in order to seize power.

Also, the military personnel of the aviation unit were informed in more detail about the events that took place in early January 2022 in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Only thanks to the timely intervention of the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO, groups of armed militants, under the pretext of discontent of the population, failed to carry out a coup d’état in this republic.

Conducting legal hours in military units helps to increase the legal literacy of military personnel, the correct interpretation of laws, as well as timely information about world events and news.
