A solemn event was held at the Naval Polytechnic Institute of the All-Russian Scientific Center of the Navy “Naval Academy” (Pushkin), dedicated to bringing the personnel of the scientific company of the Navy of the autumn draft of 2021 to the Military Oath. The servicemen have already completed the course of initial combined arms training and are ready to carry out the tasks assigned to the scientific company in the following areas: shipbuilding, weapons and military equipment of the Navy; improvement of research ship design methods; automation, information technology in the Navy; means and systems for lighting the situation in the ocean and sea zones; radio-electronic and optical-electronic systems, means of observation and electronic warfare; sea ​​rescue and underwater technology.

The solemn event took place in the VMPI club, where, in the face of command and comrades, young sailors took an oath of allegiance to their Fatherland. The autumn conscription 2021 is represented by graduates of the leading technical universities of the Russian Federation, a total of 18 people. Captain 1st Rank Mikhail Poleshchikov, Chairman of the Naval Scientific Committee, addressed the military personnel of the scientific company with words of congratulations. He wished the operators of the scientific company successful implementation of the plan of scientific work, health and creative success.

“Over the period from 2013 to the present, the operators of the scientific company of the Navy have made a significant contribution to the development of military science, successfully demonstrated the results of their scientific research at the annual, international military-technical forums “ARMY”. Many graduates of the scientific company of the Navy work at enterprises of the military-industrial complex, and also continued to serve in officer positions in the Navy. I am sure that the operators of the scientific company, who are in service today, will continue this tradition and contribute to strengthening the defense capability of our country,” Captain 1st Rank Andrey Klimenko, head of the Naval Polytechnic Institute, said in his speech.
