As part of the fulfillment of the order of the President of Russia, specialists from the Military Construction Complex of the Russian Ministry of Defense are building a new hospital complex with a polyclinic in the Moscow Region to provide medical care to residents of the region.

Governor Andrey Vorobyov addressed the President of the Russian Federation with a request to build a modern medical facility in the Moscow Region by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

In the urban district of Istra, military builders are building a multidisciplinary round-the-clock hospital with 160 beds, which will deploy therapeutic, cardiology, trauma departments, gynecology, pulmonology and resuscitation.

The course of construction work was inspected by the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Timur Ivanov and the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov.

As part of the hospital, the project provides for the creation of an operating and diagnostic units with X-ray diagnostics and a department for medical rehabilitation and endoscopy, as well as a polyclinic.

Patients with a new coronavirus infection will also be able to receive medical care within the walls of the new center.

The total building area of ​​the large-scale facility will exceed 22.3 thousand square meters. Military builders are planning to commission a new medical facility built on a turnkey basis in May 2022.
