Lifts appeared on bridges, overpasses and in one pedestrian underpass.

Over the past year in Moscow, specialists from the municipal services complex have installed 16 new elevators on three bridges, three overpasses and one pedestrian underpass.

On the Andreevsky (Pushkinsky) pedestrian bridge and on the bridge of Bogdan Khmelnitsky, two modern elevators with a carrying capacity of 630 kilograms were installed. Before that, specialists dismantled outdated cabins with hydraulic drives, replaced all the metal and reinforced concrete structures of the shafts, and lined the parapets with granite slabs.

Two new lifts weighing over 500 kilograms instead of obsolete ones appeared at the pedestrian overpass on the 65th kilometer of the Moscow Ring Road, next to the Strogino bus stop. In order for the elevators to work in winter, the specialists of the municipal services complex equipped the lower landing areas in front of the entrance to the cabins with electric heating, and the elevator shafts were insulated with basalt slabs.

Two more elevators were replaced at the pedestrian overpasses on the Altufevskoe Highway and the 74th kilometer of the Moscow Ring Road. The old elevator shafts were rebuilt and insulated, the approaches to the cabins were made heated. Installed ventilation and video surveillance systems.

In the underground passage near the Kurskaya metro station, two elevators were replaced, as well as part of the metal structures of mines and stairways. Then the elevator shafts were concreted, ramps and vestibules with a heating function were equipped.

New elevators have appeared on the Brateevsky bridge, which crosses the park of the 850th anniversary of Moscow, one of the popular recreation areas for Maryino residents. Specialists built four elevator shafts and equipped them with cabins for passengers. Elevators are located next to the stairs on both sides of the bridge, each with a carrying capacity of a thousand kilograms. The ramps on the approaches to the elevators are automatically heated, and heat is also supplied to the platforms in front of the elevators and to the ventilation shafts. Cabins and floor platforms are equipped with video surveillance. Elevators are monitored by dispatchers around the clock.
